Research into unpaid placements

Recent research shows that training in a profession with unpaid placements results in long-term financial costs contrasting the treatment of male-dominated professions that involve paid training (police, customs, prison officers, military) with female-dominated ones that do not (nursing, teaching, midwifery, social work).

Degree-level apprenticeships can address inequities in society and support more people to achieve their financial goals faster.
